A low fat way to enjoy the taste of a full flavored barbecue sauce.
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/4 teaspoon maple extract
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon barbecue spice
5 packets artificial sweetener
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients except sweetener in a small saucepan and cook for about 20 minutes over heat.
2. Cool to room temperature and add the sweetener.
3. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
