As a child i remember picking blackberries in the lot next to our summer house at the lake and washing them putting some in a bowl sprinkle with a little sugar and yummy they were so good and mom would make cobbler for dinner with the other ones we picked. let me tell ya that wild grown blackberries are much better than those you buy in the store. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup self rising flour |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup milk |
2 quarts fresh washed blackberries |
Directions:
1. mix butter, flour, sugar, milk in a bowl. 2. spread in the bottom of a 9x9 pan and top with berries. 3. bake 350 for 1 hour. 4. don't forget the ice cream for ala mode! |
