This is a great tasting smoothie with a little zing to it from the pomegranate juice. Nonfat vanilla yogurt is the best to use for this recipe. Other fruits like strawberries can be added, but i find that the water in fresh fruits can make a smoothie runny. Ingredients:
8 oz (1 cup) dannon light 'n fit yogurt |
1 cup frozen blueberries |
1 cup frozen raspberries |
2 oz (1/4 cup) pomegranate juice |
1/4 tsp vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Add the yogurt to your blender 2. Pour in the frozen blueberries and pulse the blender until fully incorporated 3. Pour in the raspberries and pulse the blender once again 4. Add the pomegranate juice after the frozen berries have been fully blended 5. Add the vanilla extract and blend on high for 15 seconds |
