I was taught this by a teacher a while back. The outcome is supposed to be an icy texture that is great for a snack or to cool down a drink of a similar flavor. Great for hot summer days! Ingredients:
2 cups strawberries (frozen or fresh) |
1 cup water |
1/2 cup honey |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Combine strawberries, water, honey, and lemon juice in a blender. 2. Mix until well blended. 3. Pour mixture into an 8x4x2 inch pan. Then, cover an with aluminum foil and place in refrigerator for 6-8 hours or overnight. 4. When mixture is firm, use an ice cream scoop to make little balls. |
