Really easy really versatile frozen ice cream cake. I'm listing just one variation but you can swap out the flavor of chocolate chips, ice cream and you can use marshmellow fluff in place of the peanut butter. Enjoy! Read more ! Ingredients:
1 bag chocolate chips |
2/3c peanut butter |
6c crispy rice cereal |
1 gallon vanilla ice cream |
Directions:
1. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in a double boiler ; add cereal and stir to mix well. Spread on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper and cool about 2 hours. 2. Break up cereal mixture into small pieces (mixture will still be somewhat moist). 3. Soften ice cream; fold 1 1/2c cereal mixture into ice cream and spread in a 10 springform pan. 4. Sprinkle top with remaining cereal mix and freeze. |
