This is a great base recipe that can be added to and changed very easily. Ingredients:
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
1 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon salt, optional |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients. 2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. 3. For thinner dip, add milk by teaspoons. 4. Garnish with fresh snipped parsely. 5. Blue-cheese sour cream dip: 6. Subsitute blue cheese for cheddar cheese. 7. Dried beef-sour cream dip: 8. Omit cheese and salt. 9. Mix in 3 ounces dried beef, snipped. 10. Red bean-sour cream dip: 11. Omit cheese. 12. Mix in 10 ounces of drained kidney beans and 6 slices crisply fried bacon crumbles. |
