Vermont Pork Chops

A great maple pork chop dish
Ingredients:
6 pork chops
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon chili pepper
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
flour, to thicken gravy
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F
2. Lightly brown pork chops in a small amount of olive oil.
3. Place chops in a flat baking dish.
4. Combine all other ingredients over low heat and pour over chops.
5. Cover and bake 45 minutes basting occasionally.
6. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
7. Place chops on warming platter while sauce is thickened very slightly with flour.
8. Pour sauce over chops and serve.
