I have to share this wonderful and delicious sandwich I came across while traveling our great USA. This great find from Burlington, Vermont! Simple and unique ingredients using, Cinnamon Bread, White Vermont Cheddar, Turkey and Sliced green apples! Read more ! Wow, this memorable lunch was one of my favorites! Enjoy............ Ingredients:
4 slices thick sliced raisin bread |
4 slices white vermont cheddar cheese |
6 slices turkey breast, sliced thin |
1 granny smith apple, sliced very thin (use about 4 slices on each) |
4 tbs butter, for bread ,,additional for pan |
mayo (optional) |
mustard (optional) |
Directions:
1. Slice the Granny smith apple in very thin slices. 2. Butter the bread (all four sides) 3. In a heated skillet, place two pieces of the bread in the pan. 4. Add the sliced apples, then turkey and cheese to the griiling bread. 5. If you want to add Mayo or mustard , on the top slice add now.. 6. Add the top slice, butter side up. 7. Grill, and occasionally turn, till this beauty is done. |
