Ingredients:
1/4 cup(s) vegetable oil |
2 whole(s) tomatoes chopped |
2 tablespoon(s) garlic chopped |
6 whole(s) green olives chopped, coarse |
2 tablespoon(s) pickled jalapenos chopped, coarse |
1 tablespoon(s) oregano minced |
1 tablespoon(s) cilantro minced |
2 teaspoon(s) cumin |
1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
1/4 cup(s) water |
1/4 cup(s) fresh lemon juice |
1 pinch(s) salt |
1 pinch(s) pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a pan. 2. Once oil is hot, add the garlic and saute until brown. 3. Add tomatoes, let simmer on low for 25-30 minutes, while stirring. 4. Add olives, jalapeƱo and water. Let cook down for 5 minutes. 5. Add cilantro, cumon, oregano and cinnamon. Do not sir, let the spices cook on top for 5 minutes. 6. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper and let simmer for another 5 minutes. |
