Venus De Milo Soup Copycat-ish |

There is a local restaurant and banquet facility called the Venus De Milo where I have attended many weddings. They serve a beefy vegetable soup that everyone tries to replicate. This one is very close. We love it. Ingredients:
1 lb lean hamburg |
1 large can (46 oz) college inn chicken broth |
1 qt. water |
1 pkg. lipton onion soup mix |
2 stalks celery (chopped) |
1 - 14 1/2 can stewed tomatoes - cut-up |
1 10 oz pkg. frozen mixed vegetables |
1/2 - 1 cup pasta |
Directions:
1. Brown hamburg and drain excess fat, add chicken broth, water, soup mix and celery. Boil 20 minutes. Add stewed tomatoes, frozen mixed vegetables. Boil 15 minutes. Add pasta. Boil until pasta is tender. |
