I haven't actually tried this recipe yet. Hunting season is fast approaching and I need to find new ways to fix venison. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground venison |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans, undrained |
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained |
1 (15 1/2 ounce) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained |
1 cup ketchup |
1/3 cup packed brown sugar |
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled |
2 tablespoons white vinegar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, cook venison and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients. 3. Transfer to a 2-qt. baking dish. 4. Cover and bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until heated through. |
