Velvet Sauce

This sauce goes great on just about any vegetable. You can also you it to pour over old buttermilk biscuits for a quick lunch or snack.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Melt butter in saucepan.
2. Blend in flour but do NOT brown.
3. Stir in broth and heavy cream.
4. Cook quickly until sauce bubbles and thickens.
5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve!
