A gelatin salad from Mrs. Harry Godkin from Elgin, NE. It has pineapple, cream cheese and Jello. Ingredients:
1 (3 ounce) package lemon jell-o gelatin |
2 cups boiling water |
1 lb marshmallow |
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple |
1 (6 ounce) package cream cheese |
1 cup salad dressing |
1/2 cup cream |
1 (3 ounce) package raspberry jell-o gelatin |
2 cups boiling water |
Directions:
1. Dissolve lemon Jello in 1 cup boiling water. 2. Melt marshmallows in 1 cup boiling water. 3. Mix together. 4. Let cool. 5. Whip cream. 6. Beat cream, cheese, pineapple and salad dressing. 7. Add whipped cream . 8. Add to cooled mixture. 9. Put in oblong cake pan. 10. Chill. 11. Mix raspberry Jello in 2 cups boiling water. 12. Chill until syrupy. 13. Pour over lemon mixture. 14. Chill when set cut into squares. 15. Pour over. |
