Velveeta fudge has been around for a long time Just a new take on an old recipe for those who love an adventure and like it hot. Ingredients:
1 lb velveeta cheese |
1 lb butter |
1 cup cocoa (i use hershey's) |
4 lbs powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (that's right cayenne pepper) |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan , over low heat, melt cheese and butter whisking until smooth. In a large mixing bowl, mix together cocoa, sugar, and pepper. 2. and combine well. When cheese mixture is melted and smooth, add. 3. vanilla and pour cheese mixture into sugar mixture. Work quickly and 4. mix well. Candy will become stiff. Work by hand and remove to a 5. 9x9x2 inch square pan. Press into corners and smooth out. 6. Because of the butter content, blot top of candy with paper towels. 7. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares. Store in refrigerator. |
