This wonderful snack is a sauce less pizza, covered in veggies and cheese, served on a pita. Quick and easy to make for a snack or lunch. Ingredients:
1 oz mushrooms, sliced |
1/4 oz spinach, chopped |
1 oz green bell pepper, julienne strips |
1/2 oz purple onion, thinly sliced |
3 oz reduced-fat mozzarella cheese |
1 tsp dried basil |
1 pita |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Spread cheese on top of pita bread. 3. Now spread bell pepper, onion, spinach, basil, and mushrooms, evenly across pita on top of cheese. 4. Bake pita in oven for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
