I love this dish, you can use a small jalapeno in place of the green pepper to give it some heat. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 small onion, chopped |
3 cups cabbage, finely shredded |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup celery, chopped |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 small green pepper, chopped |
Directions:
1. Heat the oil, in a large frying pan about 20 minutes before serving time. 2. Add ingredients and cook over medium to low heat about 15 minutes. Stir often. 3. Cover pan during the last 5 minutes of cooking time. 4. Stir once or twice. 5. Serve immediately. 6. (Vegetables will be crisp.). |
