Spinach, beets, carrots, nuts, fruits, 1/4 cup egg whites, 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal, sunflower seeds, celery, half an apple...anything your heart desires! Tastes healthy but delicious, and a protein-packed drink that packs a wallop! Chill if desired. Great for starting your day or workout. I like to pre-slice and freeze fruits for convenience. Any milk substitute will do! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups baby spinach leaves |
1 cup shredded carrots |
1/2 cup sliced raw beet |
1/2 pear, cored and chopped |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 banana, sliced |
1/4 cup cottage cheese |
1/4 cup walnut halves |
1/4 cup whole almonds |
2 tablespoons greek yogurt |
1 tablespoon honey |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Blend spinach, carrots, beet, pear, milk, banana, cottage cheese, walnuts, almonds, yogurt, honey, and cinnamon together in a blender until smooth. |
