This is so simple and very good. Also very good for crockpot Ingredients:
2 cups boiling water |
2 cups potatoes, diced |
1/2 cup celery, diced |
1/2 cup carrot, diced |
1/4 cup onion, chopped |
salt and pepper |
1/4 cup butter |
4 tablespoons flour |
2 cups milk |
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 cup ham, cubed |
Directions:
1. Dice vegetables very small. 2. Place water, potatoes, celery, carrots, onion, salt and pepper in 5 qt sauce pan. 3. Cover and simmer 10-15 minutes . 4. Mix butter, flour, milk and cheese to make sauce. 5. Add cheese sauce to chowder and heat. |
