This is a very versatile white pizza in which you can use whatever vegetables and/or cheese you like. I used broccoli, red pepper, tomato and mushrooms topped with an Italian cheese blend of mozzarella, provolone and parmesan and it was as good, if not better, than anything that we pick up at the pizzeria! Ingredients:
1 lb pizza dough |
3 cups mixed assorted fresh vegetables, chopped into small pieces |
1/3 cup bottled creamy caesar salad dressing |
ground black pepper, to taste |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
2 cups italian cheese blend, shredded |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. 2. Oil a 14 pizza pan or a 10 x 15 baking pan. 3. Using oiled fingers, pan the dough to thinly coat the pan, forming a thick rim around the edge. 4. Toss the chopped vegetables with the Caesar dressing. 5. Spread evenly over the crust, then grind black pepper over top. 6. Scatter evenly with parmesan, followed by the cheese blend. 7. Bake on the bottom rack of the oven until golden, 15 to 20 minutes. 8. Remove from the oven and cut into 8 slices. |
