Great for a treat! Ingredients:
1 pkg (16 oz or so) smoked veggie sausage, cut into 2 pieces |
1/2 lb swiss cheese, sliced into little slices to go with the sausage pieces |
2 cans (8oz) refrigerated crescent rolls |
1 cup sauerkraut, drained and patted dry |
1 cup 1000 island dressing-read the ingredients if you're concerned about it being vegetarian-many 1000 island dressings have fish gelatin and other little tidbits like that inside |
Directions:
1. Seperate crescent rolls into triangles. Cut each triangle into three pieces. Place a little piece of sausage, a little piece of cheese and a pinch or two of sauerkraut onto each dough piece. Roll up. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375ยบ for 12 mins or til golden brown. Makes about 48. |
