Vegetarian Mushroom Escargots |

Like escargot- but vegetarian. Serve with lots of french bread to soak up the garlicy sauce. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
2 tbs. finelly chopped onion |
2-3 cloves garlic, mashed |
2 tbsp chopped parsley |
salt and pepper |
24 medium mushrooms |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Melt butter, add onions, garlic and parsley. Stir. 2. Remove from heat and season. 3. Arrange mushrooms in a baking pan, gill side up. Pour garlic butter over mushrooms. 4. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with crusty french bread. |
