These freeze very well and make a great sandwich on a hard roll with some marinara Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) carton fat-free cottage cheese |
1 egg |
1/4 cup tomato paste |
1 tablespoon dried basil |
1 tablespoon dried oregano |
1/4 cup romano cheese |
1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix |
1 cup walnuts, chopped |
4 cups corn flakes |
1/4 cup diced onion |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
Directions:
1. Drain the cottage cheese in a cloth or coffee filter lined strainer. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 3. Grease a cookie sheet. 4. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. 5. Form into 35 balls, 1 heaping Tbsp each. 6. Bake for 30 Minutes. |
