Vegetarian 'good Protein' Chili

An easy-to-prepare, hearty vegetarian chili that is so decicious and full of good things!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups black beans, rinsed
1/4 cup cooked brown rice
1 1/2 cups stewed tomatoes
1/2 cup onion, in med pieces
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup mild salsa (can increase heat if you like)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
1. Put garlic and onion in blender, pulse til chunky, then add tomatoes and blend just til pureed.
2. Add blender mixture, beans, rice, seasonings and salsa to a medium pot.
3. Cook for 30-45 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
4. Serve - delicious 'as is', or top with sour cream, guacamole, grated cheese or whatever sounds great.
