Beans are an ideal sour e of Clean-Eating protein and even those who aren't vegetarian love this meaty meatless chili recipe. It still is a satisfactory version of chili without losing out on hearty flavor. Use leftovers in a wrap for lunch the next day. Ingredients:
40 g olive oil |
350 g white onion |
3 tablespoons chili powder |
38 fl oz kidney beans |
19 fl oz yellow split peas |
19 fl oz black beans |
19 fl oz romano beans |
12 fl oz corn kernels |
6 cups vegetable broth |
22 fl oz crushed tomatoes |
150 g tvp |
1 cup all bran buds |
40 g dark chocolate |
Directions:
1. In a dutch oven, warm olive oil over medium heat. 2. Add onion, pepper and grated carrot and saute until onion becomes soft and translucent 3. Add all the remaining ingredients. Blend well. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes. |
