Tasty vegetarian burger Ingredients:
416 g black beans, drained, rinced and mashed |
1 red onion, finely chopped |
125 ml (1/2 cup) of bread crumbs |
5 ml (1 tsp) of curry |
30 ml (2 tbsp) of dijon mustard |
1 egg, beaten |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, vigorously mix together the first six ingredients. 2. Season to taste. 3. Form 4 uniform patties. 4. In a lightly oiled pan, cook the patties over high heat for 2 minutes. 5. Turn over the patties and continue cooking over medium heat for 5 minutes. 6. About 2 minutes before cooking is finished, heat the buns. 7. Garnish each patty with a slice of Allégro cheese and your choice of condiments. |
