Vegetable Stir Fry Ingredients:
1 tsp cornstarch |
1 tsp brown sugar |
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce |
1 tsp sesame oil |
2 tbsp canola oil |
4 cups broccoli |
1 red pepper |
1 onion |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced |
2 cups white rice |
Directions:
1. Combine cornstarch, brown sugar, 3 tbsp cold water, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl. Set aside. 2. In a large wok or skillet, heat canola oil until very hot. Stir fry broccoli for 3 minutes. Add pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir fry for 2 more minutes. Reduce heat, add soy sauce mixture. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. 3. Serve over steamed rice. |
