Ingredients:
2 large onions |
1/2-1 cup margarine |
2 lbs hamburger |
2 cups shredded cabbage |
2 cups diced carrots |
2 cups potatoes |
2 quarts tomatoes |
3 cans tomato sauce |
2 quarts water |
pepper |
1/3 cup barley |
1 can pinto beans (optional) |
Directions:
1. Saute onions in margarine. 2. In seperate skillet saute hamburger. 3. Add to remaining ingredients in large stock pot. 4. Simmer until done. 5. May add frozen peas, corn and limas or any other vegetable you would like. 6. May be frozen. |
