Marinated Salad. Ingredients:
salad |
1 - can sweet peas, drain |
1 - can niblet corn, drain |
1 - can french style green beans, drain |
1 big onion, chopped |
3 stalks of celery, sliced thin |
1 green bell pepper, chopped |
marinade |
1/2 c crisco vegetable oil |
1 c white vinegar |
1 c sugar |
salt to taste |
2 t water. |
Directions:
1. Place all vegetables in a large bowl and set aside. 2. Bring the marinade ingredients to a boi and stir until the sugar is dissolved. 3. Pour the mixture over the vegetables and stir. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Served chilled. |
