For a quick, creative presentation, pipe cheese mixture into Fillo shells with a pastry tube. I don't recall where I found this. I have not tried this just posting for safe keeping. Ingredients:
3 ounces light cream cheese, softened |
1/4 cup light sour cream |
1/2 teaspoon dill weed |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper |
1/4 teaspoon parsley flakes |
pastry shells (fillo shells) |
assorted cut-up vegetables (quartered cherry tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, green onions, sliced radishes, or broccoli florets) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except vegetables and Fillo shells; blend until smooth. 2. Spoon cheese mixture into Fillo shells; garnish with vegetables. |
