This makes a very light batter. The perfect coating for deep fried vegetables. I've used it on shrimp with great results as well. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
1 egg, beaten |
1/2 cup beer |
1/2 cup ice water |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, salt and sugar. 2. Add egg, water and beer to flour mix. 3. Mix thoroughly. 4. Dip your veggies in and deep fry. 5. NOTE: If you find this mixture isn't sticking, try coating your veggies with a very light coat of flour before dipping. |
