Vegetable Casserole

Creamy, cheesy, delicious! An excellent way to get kids to eat their veggies!
Ingredients:
4 cups mixed vegetables (your favourite)
3 tablespoons margarine
3 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 slices buttered bread, cubed
Directions:
1. Place thawed, heated vegetables in casserole dish.
2. In saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, salt and pepper; cook and stir until it forms a paste.
3. Remove from heat and gradually whisk in milk. Return to heat; boil and thicken. Remove from heat and whisk in cheese until melted.
4. Pour over veggies in casserole dish. Top with buttered bread cubes. Bake at 325F for 30 minutes.
