It is simple and delicious. It carries and travels well to picnics or other social events. Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can veg-all, drained |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1 cup celery soup |
1 cup shredded cheese (i use sharp cheddar cheese) |
4 teaspoons margarine, melted |
20 ritz crackers, crushed (any kind of snack cracker will do.) |
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients, except margarine and crackers. 2. Put into a 2 quart casserole. 3. Bake for 45 minutes, at 300°F. 4. Melt margarine. 5. Mix crackers crumbs with margarine. 6. Sprinkle over the top. 7. Bake an additional 15 minutes. |
