this came from me having extra daiya in my fridge from pizzas this stuff was ready to go bad soon. but it ended up great. Ingredients:
box of small pasta shells |
10 ounces daiya cheese chedder |
4 ounces daiya cheese mozz |
quarter of an onion |
one clove garlic minced |
2 tbs of any vegan margarine |
quarter cup soy milk |
1/2 of a cup of nutritional yeast flakes |
Directions:
1. For the mac and cheese I cooked the pasta, then you gotta work quickly because you use the heat from the noodles mostly for the rest of the cooking.while the noodles are hot I mix and melt in some vegan margarine then sprinkle in nutritional yeast flakes. I slowly mix in about half a bag of cheddar daiya pour in about half a cup of soy milk. Make sure you are stirring everything constantly the entire time. Add a. Little more daiya on top stir one more time if it's to cool to melt everything you can turn your heat on low after you added the margarine and the soymilk. |
