This recipe comes form the infamous vegan corndog night - a wednesday/humpday institution in SLC for many moons. Ingredients:
3/4 cup cornmeal |
1 1/4 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups soymilk |
2 teaspoons cornstarch |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients. 2. Add the soymilk and stir. 3. Coat the dogs and fry em up 4. *Often we omited the soymilk and replaced it with beer. Yes, beer. It's delicious. These are corndogs people - it is dangerous to take yourself too seriously. |
