Great, rich and tender vegan chocolate cake that is easily baked off in ramekins or a traditional pan, or miniature bundt tins. Ingredients:
350 g whole wheat flour |
70 g cocoa |
180 g sugar |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon sea salt |
280 ml water |
4 tablespoons vegetable oil (preferably coconut or safflower oil) |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon cider vinegar |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. 2. Mix the dry ingredients flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda and salt. 3. Mix all the wet ingredients in a separate bowl water, oil, vanilla and vinegar. Add to dry ingredients. 4. Beat quickly to thoroughly distribute everything. 5. Pour into prepared Bundt pan. Bake 45 minutes. 6. Cool completely before un-moulding. |
