This is a great recipe for flaky biscuits. I make it for my friends all the time, and they love it. Ingredients:
2 cups self-rising flour |
1/4 cup vegan shortening, such as earth balance |
2/3 cup non-dairy milk substitute |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 450°. 2. Cut the shortening into the flour. 3. Stir in the milk. 4. Grease a cookie sheet with olive oil. 5. Roll the dough into 2 balls. 6. Cook for 10 minutes. |
