This recipe came from an Email newsletter I get every week with healthy recipes - Chet's Recipes ; Sounds pretty good to me! Lemme know if you like it! (Preparation time is a guess because I haven't made the recipe yet!) Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup wheat bran |
1/2 cup wheat germ |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon sea salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3 bananas (mashed) |
3/4 cup unrefined sugar |
1 apple (finely chopped) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. 2. Bake at 350F for 60-75 minutes in a greased and floured loaf pan, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 3. Remove from pan and cool on its side. |
