A light tea bread. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1/3 cup canola oil |
1 cup soy yogurt |
2/3 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon cinnamon or 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 cup almonds, chopped |
Directions:
1. Whisk together wet ingredients and sugar. 2. Sift together dry ingredients, except almonds. 3. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients. 4. Fold in almonds. 5. Pour into a prepared 8 inch loaf pan. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. 7. Cool in pan. |
