Vanita's Easy Caramel Popcorn |

My friend Vanita gave me this recipe several years ago when my daughter wanted to make caramel corn by herself. The times are a guess. Ingredients:
3 quarts popped popcorn |
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine |
9 large marshmallows |
1 cup brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Put popped popcorn in a large bowl. 2. Melt on stove; butter, brown sugar and marshmallows. 3. When melted cook for one minute. 4. Pour over popcorn and stir to coat popcorn. 5. let cool and serve. (we pour our caramel corn on a cookie sheet to cool instead of leaving it in the bowl but you can use whatever method you like). |
