36 cals / cookie. Makes a very chewy cookies. Ingredients:
1 cup yogurt, plain, 1 |
1/2 cup applesauce |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 egg whites |
1 egg |
1 tsp vanilla |
3/4 cup flour |
3/4 cup whole wheat flour |
1 tsp baking soda |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1 tsp nutmeg |
3 cups old fashioned oats |
1 cup dried cranberries |
1/2 cup chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Chop cranberries into smaller bits using a knife or a blender. 2. Heat oven to 350 3. Beat together yogurt, applesauce, and sugars until creamy 4. Add egg, egg whites, and vanilla; beat well 5. In separate bowl combine flours, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. 6. Add dry to wet 7. Stir in oats and raisins, mix well 8. Drop by teaspoons onto an un-greased cookie sheet 9. Flatten cookie batter to 1/2 inch thick or less 10. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown 11. Cool for atleast a minute, and remove to wire racks 12. -thicken the cookies and you will have mini cookie-cakes. 13. -the cookies is not crunchy but has a bounce to it 14. -if adding chocolate chips lessen sugars otherwise its too sugary 15. -could add coconut for extra texture |
