Vanilla Wafer Cake with coconut Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened |
2 cups sugar |
6 eggs |
1 (12 ounce) box vanilla wafers, crushed |
1/2 cup milk |
1 (7 ounce) package flaked coconut |
1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts, chopped |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar in bowl. 2. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. 3. Add vanilla wafer crumbs and milk, mixing well. 4. Stir in coconut and pecans. 5. Pour into well-greased tube pan. 6. Bake at 275°F for 2 hours or until cake tests done. |
