Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 egg whites
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
dash of salt
1/3 cup cold water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, egg whites, syrup, and salt in top of a large double boiler; add cold water, and beat on low speed of electric mixer for 30 seconds or until just blended.
2. Place over boiling water; beat constantly on high speed of electric mixer about 7 minutes or until stiff peaks form. Remove from heat. Add vanilla extract; beat 2 minutes or until frosting is thick enough to spread.
