Vanilla extract and ground cinnamon bring ordinary French toast to a new flavor level, especially when served with real maple syrup! Ingredients:
2 eggs |
1/2 cup milk |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon spice islandsĀ® pure vanilla extract |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1 tablespoon butter |
6 slices bread |
Directions:
1. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in a medium bowl. 2. Melt butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Dip bread slices in egg mixture and brown each side in skillet. Serve with maple syrup. |
