I have not tried this recipe. I got it from recipe box from an estate sale. The recipe was submitted by Shauna Stilts of Bryson, California. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 teaspoon grated lemon rind |
3/4 cup sifted cake flour |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F 2. Cream until light butter, and sugar. 3. Beat in egg, vanilla, and grated lemon rind. 4. Add cake flour. 5. Drop small amount of batter with a teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. 6. Bake 7 minutes or until rims are tan. |
