This easy vanilla cream sauce is the perfect topping for a number of desserts, including pound cake, ice cream, and fresh fruit. Ingredients:
2 cups whipping cream |
1 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Stir first 3 ingredients together in a saucepan. Add butter, and cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until butter is melted and mixture begins to boil. Cook, stirring constantly, 3 minutes or until mixture is slightly thickened. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla. Serve warm. |
