It is rich, moist and so good. Ingredients:
cake |
1c. + 2t. butter |
6oz. cream cheese; softened |
2 1/4c. sugar |
6 eggs |
1 1/2t. vanilla |
2 1/4c. cake flour |
frosting |
1c. sugar |
1/3c. evaporated milk |
1/2c. butter |
1/2c. semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. CAKE: 2. Cream butter, cream cheese & sugar. 3. Add eggs one at a time; beat well after each. 4. Beat in vanilla. 5. Stir in flour. 6. Bake 325F for 30-35 min. in a 15x10x1 pan. 7. Cool completely before frosting. 8. FROSTING: 9. Combine sugar & milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil over med. heat. 10. Cover and cook for 3 min. DO NOT Stir. 11. Stir in butter & chocolate chips until melted. 12. Cool slightly. 13. Stir and spread over cake. |
