Green peas with tuna, tomato sauce, and onions come together for a great salad. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 small tomato, chopped |
1 (15 ounce) can green peas, drained |
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce |
1 1/2 (6 ounce) cans tuna, drained |
salt and ground black pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir onion in the hot oil until softened, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir tomato, peas, tomato sauce, and tuna into onion; continue cooking until warm, 3 to 4 minutes; season with salt and black pepper. |
