A niece and her friends entered a cake contest, so I tried to help them doing something easy and delicious, they won the flavor prize Ingredients:

225grs. butter |
220 grs. sugar |
6 eggs |
350 grs, crushed cookie crumbs |
275 grs. melted semi-sweet chocolate |
100 grs.grounded walnuts |

275 grs. melted semi-sweeet chocolate |
1 can condensed milk |
for my nieces cake i doubled the recipe to have 2 cakes one round and one heart shaped. |
Directions:
1. CAKE 2. Preheat oven to 375F. grease and line base of 20 cm. deep cake pan . 3. In a large mixing bowl cream butter 4. add one by one the egg yolks 5. add sugar 6. add melted chocolate 7. add ground the cookies and the walnuts. 8. in a separate bowl beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form , and fold into the mixture. 9. Pour into bowl and bake it for 45 min. aprox. 10. FUDGE 11. Pour condensed milk into a heavy saucepan and add chocolate, mix it perfectly and with low heat and a wooden spoon move it till you get a heavier consistency. (about 25 min) 12. When the cake comes out let it cool down and pour fudge over it. 13. In this case I added a valentine's decoration for the contest. 14. hope you like it!!! |
