This is a recipe from my great-grandmother, Agnes Stayton. I found the title of the recipe endearing-that's all the description that there was. I think it is for a tomato sauce of sorts. Ingredients:
2 quarts about 12-14 medium-sized chopped and peeled tomatoes |
1 cup chopped celery |
3/4 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup chopped green pepper |
2 teaspoons salt |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon mustard seeds |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves |
1 cup vinegar |
