UPSIDE DOWN ORANGE PUFFS This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Stewart Estate in Terrell, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter melted |
1/3 cup orange juice |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
2 teaspoon orange rind |
1 can refrigerator biscuits |
Directions:
1. Combine butter with orange juice, sugar and orange rind. 2. Place 1 tablespoon orange sauce in each of 10 sections of a muffin pan. 3. Punch hole in center of each biscuit then place in each cup. 4. Bake for 15 min. at 400 and allow to remain cups 5 minutes after baking. 5. Turn upside down on serving plate. |
